Laura Taylor

Laura Taylor Laura is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She has worked in the social work field for over 25 years including as a crisis therapist in the emergency room of Dayton’s Good Samaritan Hospital and as a case manager and supervising therapist at Eastway Lifeskills Center. Laura completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in 1992. Laura currently works in all of the schools in both Yellow Springs and Bellbrook/Sugarcreek. Her job functions include in psychosocial assessment & diagnosis, individual, family & group psychotherapy, consultation and crisis intervention. Laura enjoys working with and learning from students of all ages with their variety of interests and strengths.

Dawn Gruber

Dawn Gruber Dawn is a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor endorsement in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wright State University in 1990 and then completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University in 1992. Dawn has been working at the Greene ESC since 1999, primarily at the Greene County Learning Center. She is currently working with 2 Transition Classrooms, as well as 4th thru 8th graders in the Fairborn City Schools. Dawn has been a therapist in the mental health field since 1993. Her experiences have all been school-based services including crisis intervention, outpatient for children & adolescents and supervision. Locally she has worked at South Community, Inc. prior to joining the staff at the GCESC. She specializes in psychosocial assessment & diagnosis, individual, family & group psychotherapy, consultation and crisis intervention. Dawn utilizes various therapeutic techniques in her practice and is passionate about the people she serves.

Peggy Roesser

Peggy Roesser Peggy is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 1992 and then completed her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Dayton in 1996. Peggy has been working at the Greene ESC since 2003, primarily in Xenia City Schools. She is currently working fulltime at the high school. Peggy has 24 years of experience in the mental health field. Her experiences are varied and include residential treatment, home based therapy, crisis intervention, outpatient for children & adolescents and adult inpatient. Locally she has worked at Daymont West, Franciscan Medical Center, Crisis Care, and Catholic Social Services. She specializes in psychosocial assessment & diagnosis, individual, family & group psychotherapy, consultation and crisis intervention. Peggy utilizes various therapeutic techniques in her practice and is passionate about the people she serves.

Jennifer Mills

Jennifer Mills J. is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology, from Wilmington College in 1996. She received her Master’s Degree of Science in Community Counseling from the University of Dayton in 2005. J. has worked in the field since 2006, and has been with the ESC since 2008. She was awarded the Carol Wichman Award for Outstanding Contributions to Mental Health Services in Greene County in 2015. J. has counseled children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, group home/independent living site, crisis intervention, home based, and outpatient. She specializes in psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, individual, family and group psychotherapy, consultation, crisis intervention, and community support services. J. has a holistic approach to therapy, and works closely with parents and school staff to provide wrap around support to the students she serves. She primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, along with skill building, with elementary and middle school aged children. She also has extensive training in attachment work, crisis intervention, and the PAX Good Behavior Game. J. provides services to students in Beavercreek City Schools elementary schools and one middle school.

Chris Knotts

Chris Knotts Chris is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wittenberg University in 1978, and his Master’s Degree in Rehab Counseling from Wright State University in 1993. He has worked with adolescents and young adults for the past thirty years in the schools and court system, and has been with the ESC since 2008 and provides services to students at the Greene County Career Center. Chris is certified as a sex offender therapist for adolescents through the University of Louisville, and has also worked with drug and alcohol, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and family problems. He uses eclectic approaches, reality therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relation technique training, building insight and reframing techniques.

Laura Rozier

Laura Rozier Laura is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She graduated from Wright State in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in social work and a minor in psychology. Laura has worked in the mental health field for the past ten years. Her previous experience includes working with teen parents, the adult homeless population, and with children ages 5-18 with mental health disorders. Laura worked for Integrated Youth Services from 2004-2009 in a partial hospitalization program where she provided individual, group, and family counseling primarily to junior high and high school students. In August of 2009 Laura joined the school based mental health team at the GCESC. She currently is the therapist for the Academy and Outdoor Advantage programs. Laura utilizes various therapeutic techniques depending on the individual needs. She addresses a wide range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to, anxiety and depression. Laura is passionate about her job and holds her clients and their families in high regard.

Megan Kilner

Megan Kilner Megan has been a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio since 2007, when she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Wright State University. Megan has been working at the Greene ESC since 2014, primarily in the Fairborn City Schools and Cedar Cliff Local Schools. Megan has a variety of experience in the mental health field, including ABA therapy for children with autism, outpatient mental health treatment for adults, drug and alcohol therapy for adults, serving homeless populations and those living with HIV, and outpatient treatment for children. Locally she has worked at Homefull, WSU SARDI Program, and Consumer Advocacy Model. She specializes in psychosocial assessment & diagnosis, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. Megan utilizes various therapeutic techniques in her practice and is passionate about the people she serves.

Casey Aldrich

Casey Aldrich Casey is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton in 2011 and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Casey has been employed by the Greene County ESC since August 2015, serving the Greeneview School District in Jamestown. Having previously worked in Montgomery County, Casey’s experience is primarily around school-based mental health therapy. Her experience includes working with students, ages 4-18, and their families. She specializes in psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, individual, family and group therapy, consultation and crisis intervention. Casey uses techniques from a variety of treatment modalities and individualizes care to the students and families. Casey is also significantly involved in Quality Assurance Compliance for Greene ESC Mental Health Services, across all program areas.

Rachel Mitchell

Rachel Mitchell Rachel is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She graduated from Evangel University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Social Work and the University of Cincinnati in 2005 with a Master of Social Work. Rachel has worked with children and adults since 2003 and has been with the ESC since January 2016. Rachel has experience in several settings including residential treatment, in-home early intervention and case management services, crisis intervention, community mental health, and private practice. Rachel utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques depending on the needs of the individual client and has extensive training in attachment and play therapy. She currently provides services to students in Beavercreek City Schools, grades K-12.

Kimberly-Ann Norwood

Kimberly-Ann Norwood Kim is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology from Wright State University in 2009. She received her Master’s Degree of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in 2011. Kim has worked in outpatient, private and school-based settings. Kim joined the ESC in August of 2018. She currently provides services for students in two elementary schools and the middle school in the Xenia City district. Kim is passionate about her work with children and families.

Tamar Totty

Tamar Totty Tamar is an Independently Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Antioch Midwest in 2007 and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2016. Tamar has 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents. She has worked in a variety of settings, including: an after-school program, youth homeless shelter, youth employment program, juvenile detention facility and has spent the last three years serving children and families in school-based therapy. She specializes in psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, individual, family and group psychotherapy, consultation, crisis intervention, and community support services. Tamar is passionate about her work with children and families and uses a holistic approach to therapy in order to meet their individual treatment needs.

Jaime Hilling

Jaime Hilling

Jaime is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University in 2000 and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2010. Jaime also has a certification as a School Social Worker through the Ohio Department of Education. Jaime has worked with children and families for almost 20 years, working in foster care from 2000 to 2010 and in the educational setting since 2010. She specializes in psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy. Jaime has a strengths based and client centered approach. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and trauma focused care. She currently provides services to students in Beavercreek, Cedar Cliff and Fairborn Schools.

Wendy Wooten

Wendy Wooten Wendy is the Records Control Officer and Administrative Assistant for the ESC’s Mental Health Services. She has been with the ESC since 1999 and takes an active role in the everyday running of the program, specifically supporting the School-based Therapists providing services in district buildings.
