Greene ESC's Innovation in Education Grant

The Greene County Educational Service Center is again offering its Innovation in Education Grant for Educators for the 2010-11 school year.

The purpose of this grant is to:
  • fund projects that promote critical thinking and hands on learning.
  • approach curriculum from an imaginative angle, or tie nontraditional concepts together for the purpose of illustrating commonalities.
  • support innovative projects that enhance the interest level of education and are easily shared and replicated.

Eligibility: K-12 certified teachers employed and teaching subjects for a Greene County Public School District are eligible to apply for this grant.  This year we will be offering two mini-grants amounting to $1000.00 each.

The application deadline for the grant is September 24th, and we anticipate naming the recipients and distributing the grants in early October.
