Welcome to the Greene ESC Awards Page. The links on the right hand side will take you to each of our scholarship and awards programs. Listed  below is the general submission deadline information.

 

Deadlines for submission of Grant Applications:

ESC Services Scholarship for Students:  Applications are available from high school counselors beginning March 1 of each school year. Submission deadline is May 1st of each school year.
 

Innovation in Education Grant for Educators:  The Greene ESC is again offering its Innovation in Education Grant for Educators.  The purpose of this grant is to:

  • fund projects that promote critical thinking and hands on learning. 

  • approach curriculum from an imaginative angle, or tie nontraditional concepts together for the purpose of illustrating commonalities. 

  • support innovative projects that enhance the interest level of education and are easily shared and replicated.

Eligibility: K-12 certified teachers employed and teaching subjects for a Greene County Public School District are eligible to apply for this grant.  This year we will be offering two mini-grants amounting to $1000.00 each.

The application deadline for the grant is September 24th, and we anticipate naming the recipients and distributing the grants in early October.

Grant funds are obtained solely through Greene County ESC employee contributions and Innovation in Education Grant and Student Scholarship fund-raising activities.
