Structured Teaching: Taking it to the Next Level (additional techniques based upon TEACCH) Wednesday, August 12, 2009 8:30 am---3:30 pm (one hour lunch on your own)
Description: This course is designed as a follow-up to day one or for those who have had prior training in Structured Teaching techniques. It will provide strategies and tools for fine tuning structured teaching to meet each child’s needs and will demonstrate how these techniques can be integrated into a variety of settings, including inclusion/ regular classroom settings.
Presenters: Susan Whidden, Speech Pathologist, Miami County Educational Service Center, and Kim Roeser, Teacher, Kettering City Schools present from their experience and extensive training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
