
The Paraprofessional as Job Coach
Among the many jobs that paraprofessionals are tasked with, job coaching can be challenging but rewarding. This workshop provides instruction, modeling, and activities to help paraprofessionals effectively support students in vocational settings. Topics to be covered include: Safety in the community and on the job site Task analysis, prompting and fading prompts Professionalism on the job site Communication in the vocational setting Assisting multiple students in one setting Target Audience: Paraprofessionals and other Educators involved in the transition process Presenters: Sherry Hubler, Job Coach, Greene Inc.
