Donate NOW! GCESC Project LIFE Program for “Super Seniors”
The Greene County Educational Service Center Education Foundation is run by Greene Giving. All donations will be used to support the Project LIFE program which is a comprehensive, multi-year transition program in which students can develop, practice and strengthen the skills that are high predictors of increased adult independence and successful integrated community employment.
The Project LIFE Program Model provides “interns” with a course of study and program model that meets the definition outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). It also provides a comprehensive program that incorporates classroom activities, independent living skills, and community job site performance into a data report, and it utilizes evidence-based practices with demonstrated positive employment outcomes.
A subcommittee for the Educational Service Foundation will meet at least annually to determine the amount donated and how to appropriate for the necessary purchases and costs for the Project LIFE program.
